Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as it still known to many, is Vietnam's largest and most dynamic city. In 1862, the French declared the city, then known as Saigon, as the capital of colonial Cochinchina. What hasn't changed in Ho Chi Minh City is commercial zeal.
Ho Chi Minh City is regarded as "the Diamond of the Far-east" with modern office skyscrapers, amidst Oriental style pagodas and food stalls along the street, create a dynamic urban area in very special sense which tourists could not miss going there.
